Hello and thank you for joining me again today on the same edition living in the fullness of what Christ has already done.
Today, I’ll bring you another good news. Do you know that God is a Restorer? The Bible tells us in the book of Amos 9:11 talking about the restoration of David’s Kingdom, It says
“In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old“
What exactly have you lost? What exactly is missing in your life right now? God is a Restorer. In the book of Joel 2:24 to 27, it says that God is able to restore the years, not just the months, not just the weeks, not just the days but the years that the locust has eaten. Think about it for a second, the locust has eaten it. It is like an egg that falls on the ground, once broken no one can put it back together but God says, I can! Why? Because nothing is impossible with God. The Bible says in the book of Matthew 19: 26, Mark 10: 27, Luke 18:27, Luke 1:37 All talks about nothing is “impossible with God”. What is impossible with man is possible for God. There’s nothing absolutely Impossible with our God. Praise God forevermore.
So I’m telling you today that your years that have been lost, your married that have been lost, things that you have lost, business opportunities you have lost; God is a Restorer. He’s able to restore you back to His original position.
If you read the same chapter in the book of Amos 9:14, it says
“and I will bring my people Israel back from exile. “They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant My people on their land. And they will never again be pulled up from the land I gave them,” says the Lord your God“
This is not man speaking. This is our God that is speaking. Whatever you have lost God is able to restore you. Maybe during the Covid-19 you lost your job, you’ve lost your business, you probably even lost your marriage, God can restore you.
I want you to understand that as a born-again Christian there’s nothing that you have lost that God is not able to restore. Job lost everything but God restored everything back to him. Whatever you have lost, cry no more, weep no more, trust your Daddy that is able to restore you back to the way you used to be even much better. I like what my mentor said. He said when you get back what you have lost that is recovery but when you get much more than what you lost that is restoration and we have a God who is able to restore and compensate you. Whatever you have lost doing this moment, whatever you have lost during this time, I want you to know that Daddy is able to restore you. He said “I will restore that which the locus has eaten.
