Praise God forevermore. I bring you another good news today. I want to talk to you about a message titled What is your reality?
People of God, we live in the real world. I know that we live in a world where we are faced with challenges from the north, from the south, from the west, and from the east. Jesus said in John 16: 33, in the world you will have challenging moments, paraphrasing that you will have tribulation but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. Jesus already told us, you already warned us.
In fact, if you read the scripture from the beginning, the first aspect we say in Me you will have peace. But in the world, you will have tribulation. You will have challenging moments. You will have situations and circumstances that can actually want to threaten your faith. But he said in me you will have peace.
So today I really want to talk to you about whatever you are going through. What is your reality? Sometimes when we go through life-threatening situations as Paul went through one, I wouldn’t call it life-threatening, but the Bible talks about in the book of Matthew, chapter 14, I think we read from verse 29 down to verse 30. Remember the scripture where Peter says, Jesus, if it’s you, beat me to come. And of course, Jesus told him to come. And the Bible says that when he began to walk on the water, what happened? He began to look at the wind. That was boisterous. That’s exactly what happens to us. Life can present itself with boisterous situations and circumstances.
Yes, you can receive reports from the lawyers, from your immigration experts that say, you know what, your time is up in this country. You have to go back. There’s nothing we can do about it. That’s with Maine because I was with me and it might be impossible. That lawyer is a man.
So with him, it might be impossible. But the Bible says, not with God. Or you’ve received a report about your child, or you’ve received a report about your health and it says you only have a couple of days to leave or a couple of months or years to leave. That’s coming from the experts which are still men, the Bowser with men marching. 1926 says that it’s very clear in a couple of other scriptures in Luke and Mark the Corroborate, the same thing.
But listen to the people of God. I want you to understand this. Our reality is God’s word. Praise God forevermore. Maybe you seek today your reality is not what the doctors have said.
The reality is that by the stripes, by the wounds, by the bruises of our Lord Jesus Christ, you were healed according to four-speed 224 or you are healed according to Isaiah 53, verse five. Or you can take hold of scriptures like Matthew chapter 8: 17 that says that it might be fulfilled, that which was spoken by Zahdi Prophet, that himself took our infirmities. Or you can look at scriptures like Jeremy 3017 talking about bringing being restored. If you read it in the message and it says coming to cure the incurable, praise God forevermore. People of God, I want you to understand, don’t let anything else define your reality.
Don’t even let the experiences of other people that you know could be made in a great fate and they’ve been through some situations and they didn’t come out of that situation. And you allow that to define your own reality. No. God’s word is our reality. Praise God forevermore.
I like what the Bible says in the book of 56, verse twelve. He says, fights the good fight of faith. Lay hold on to eternal life. He says, lay hold. That means he can sleep.
Fight the good fight of fighting the good fight of faith means it’s already done because it’s a good fight. All you’re doing is you’re laying hold. I was lay hold on to eternal life. What Christ has done for you people of God is beyond what you can do for yourself. There’s no need to try to do stuff for yourself anymore.
There’s no need to try to believe that all of know, all you need to do is to believe in Jesus, belief in what he has done. The Bible says, who is he that overcomes the word, he that believes that Jesus is the son of the living God. Life can be tough. Yes. If you read the book of Romans, chapter four, verse 19.
When the Bible says that Abraham did not consider the Baroness of a serious womb. If you read it in the original, the Bible says that he attentively considered it. However, when it came to the promises of God, the Bible says he did not vacillate. What you and I have are the promises of God. The Bible tells us in book of two, Peter, chapter one, let’s just read together from verse three.
It says, according to his divine power, has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and goodness through the knowledge of him was called us on to glory and virtue. I wanted to look at the next verse, which is where I’m going, verse four. It says, whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these, by these promises, it says that we become partakers of the divine nature. Having escaped the corruption that is in this world through loss, we escaped the corruption that is in this world by trusting in the exciting great and precious promises of our Lord Jesus Christ. And that is exactly what Abraham did.
He put his trust more in the promises of God. And the Bible says it did not vacillate. Whatever you’re going through right now, if you keep pondering and considering it, it’s going to look bigger and lighter. But if you take your eyes away and begin to focus more on the promises of God, begin to focus on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Begin to focus on the Bible scriptures regarding the situation they are going through, you will realize that there is a way of escape for you.
Praise God forevermore. The Bible says in Psalm 124 seven, it says, our soul is escaped as a bed out of the snare of the Fowler. He says the snare is broken and we are escaped. How do you escape by the exceeding great and precious promises of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am not saying that the situation is not boisterous.
I’m not saying what you are facing right now is not real. I’m not saying what you’re facing right now is not life-threatening. But what I’m saying is that every time you go into a life-threatening situation, double up the word. Double up the word in that area. Find every scripture you can find and begin to meditate on them.
Begin to ponder on them. What does it mean actually to meditate? To think about something until it becomes real to you? People of God, as you begin to engage on this, you begin to see that situation melt like a wax in your eyes.
There’s nothing absolutely impossible with our God. When you work in collaboration with God, there’s no such thing as an impossible situation. The Bible is very clear on this. In Matthew 923, it says all things are possible to him that believes and that is the realm that God lives in. That is the realm of faith.
I just want to encourage you today. What is your reality? Let God be your reality. Don’t let anything else define your reality other than God’s Word, every aspect of life or whatever you’re going through. Find scriptures in that area.
Double it. Double it up. Find men who have preached messages in that area that you trust and you love. Begin to listen over and over and over. The Bible says this book of the Lord had not departed out of their mouth.
For it not to depart out of my mouth. It must have saturated your heart. The Bible says out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. What does that mean? It means whatever has been saturated in your heart, in your heart will come up automatically when you keep pouring water into a bowl, into a jar.
When it gets full, it begins to spill. So what? When you start to read your heart with God’s Word, when it gets full begins to come out of your lips. People of God want you to understand this. God has already made provision for your health.
He has already made provision for your life. Whatever it is you are going through is the same way that manufacturers of products have already made provisions. That’s why they give you ten years warranty of 20 years or whatever number of years warranty they can do. You know why? Because they are very sure of their product.
If anything goes wrong, you know what they do? They replace the part. If anything is wrong with your body, God is sure of his product which is you and I. If you’re good to stop, maybe it’s your body organs. God can replace it.
Yes, it’s possible. Do you believe it? It’s up to you. Perhaps all things are possible to him that believes praise God forevermore. God can replace it.
The doctors will tell you when someone is blind it’s irreversible. God can reverse it. The baby Jesus said I have come to seek and to save that which was lost. What does that mean? What is lost means what is ruined.
What is beyond repairs Jesus says I can repair it. Praise God forbid today I just want to encourage you that whatever you’re going to let go of what becomes your reality. Find scripture, double up the world. Find books, find words, find messages to encourage you to build your faith up in that area and you will see that you will walk out of that situation in the name of Jesus I agree with you today that as you listen to this message that your faith will be boosted in the name of you your faith will be lifted.
